This house was built in 1883 for Alexander Campbell, politician and 'Father of Confederation’.

This building housed the law offices where Canada's first Prime Minister, Sir John A. MacDonald once worked as a young lawyer. Campbell House is preserved as an historic site by Heritage Canada.
