This is a row of three 1870 houses that houses some prominent men in early Canadian history. Sir Alexander Campbell, Father of Confederation and first Postmaster General, lived there for a time. So did James King, Director of Penitentiaries, Robert Bouchette, Commissioner of Customs, and Colonel Walker Powell, Deputy Adjutant General.

In 1889, No. 106 was listed as renting for $20 a month.
