182-184 Lisgar Street

Address: 182-184 Lisgar Street

Construction date: 1906

Built in 1906 for local lumber merchant William McAuliffe, this unusual brick semi-detached house is an example of the kind of residential developments found in Centretown at the turn of the century. It was constructed on the grounds of the Protestant Orphan's Home in the late Queen Anne Revival Style. It features a rich mix of window types, large dormers, prominent verandahs, and elaborate stone details.
